Artyom Zorin proudly announced yesterday, June 18th, the immediate availability for download of the Zorin OS 6 Core and Ultimate Linux operating systems.
Being designed for Windows users, and for those who hate the GNOME Shell and Unity desktop interfaces, Zorin OS 6 comes with a unique desktop environment, called Zorin Desktop.
However, the brand-new Zorin OS 6 Core also comes with an innovative tool, called Zorin Look Changer, that allows its users to easily select a different graphical interface: GNOME 2, Windows 7, Windows XP.
On the other hand, Zorin OS 6 Ultimate features the same tool, but with different interfaces to choose from: Unity, Mac OS X, and Windows 2000.

"Zorin Desktop embraces all of the latest and greatest Open Source software and technologies such as Gtk3 and other software from the GNOME 3 software stack, all without affecting the familiarity, usability and customizability of the desktop and retaining the Compiz window manager," the official announcement stated.
And, the best of all, Zorin OS 6 is now based on Canonical's Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) operating system, which makes it a Long Term Support release, supported with security updates and patches for 5 years.
