In 2007 the U.S. government sends a probe in a parallel universe. The probe began transmitting images back to Earth the world, but after a few minutes of some alien life form damages the probe. This is followed by a powerful discharge of energy that sodzaet black hole represents a threat to life on Earth. Slade Cutter (Cutter Slade), a former Special Forces soldier, is assigned to escort three scientists in the other world, to return the probe and close the black hole.
Upon arrival into the world, Cutter loses touch with scientists and local people proclaimed messiah, Ulyukayev (Ulukai).
