(if your brand has no 'leaked' serial for the edition installed, then Acer serial is used). During installation, pop-up box requesting serial will not appear. All unused files will be self deleted.
When you view system properties... your brand logo should be displayed, and system activated. Desktop Wallpaper|Logon-Off and user account images should all be manufacturer brand of your PC... and Desktop Wallpaper|Background Logon-Off image will be auto-changed to your monitor resolution, if the appropriate image size files are included during installation (default image size is 1366X768)...
